About

This is my second blog.

My first is still going strong, is seemingly popular and is mainly poetry in content. There’s not really much of a personal nature.. just poetry as it pours out of my head.
A lot of that poetry is very much influenced by my love of music and the effect music has had on me over the years. If you look hard enough on this blog you will eventually find a link to the first.. but for now this ‘About’ is primarily about this blog, Between The Music.

This blog is intended to be a platform purely for my prose, concerning the effect music has had on my life. There will be no poetry or commentary. I want it to read like a book where each posting will be a different chapter although the chronological order may go a bit haywire from time to time but it shouldn’t matter. I’m hoping each chapter will be a standalone article in itself regardless of the order in which you read it.

Many moments in my life have been defined or enhanced by music. What I hope to achieve here is to relate the events that led up to each moment or event.. I want to share with you what was happening, between the music.

I hope you stick with me and enjoy the journey.

I have just read your fantastic pieces on the beginnings of your musical journey. The writing is engaging and also brings your vivid memories to life. Keep up the great work.

Nice. I felt as I was reading this, almost as if I were about to start reading an epic. Now, to start reading. I look forward to it.

hmm you know what? Im thinking that if these stories are explorations of what inspired you to create, than it would be nice if each post did have a small poem a the end relavent to the age about which you were writing. But I see you plan on keeping this seperate from your poetry.

Its just a thought I had as a way to enhance reader experience. Disreguard it as you see fit. 🙂

Very nice blog. I’m all about going through adversity and facing challenges head on with no regret, but music strengthens going through those hard times and heightens the mood during good times.

To hell with adversity! Just crank up the volume so it can’t hear you laughing in its face 🙂
But thanks for liking..music is very definitley a very strong stimulant and an easy fix to get hold of. Enjoy the ride 🙂
